At Fur Angels Dog Rescue, our mission is rooted in compassion, action, and hope. We exist to be a beacon of light for dogs facing the harshest realities—euthanasia, abuse, abandonment, and neglect. These vulnerable animals deserve more than survival; they deserve a chance to heal, to be loved, and to live with dignity.
Our purpose
Our purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have been forgotten, discarded, or mistreated. We are committed to providing them with a safe haven where they can recover physically and emotionally, surrounded by care and kindness. We also serve as a compassionate alternative for unethical breeders, encouraging the surrender of unwanted dogs so that every animal has the opportunity for a better life.
What we do
- Rescue and Rehabilitation: We actively seek out dogs in urgent need—whether abandoned, neglected, or at risk of euthanasia—and provide immediate medical care, emotional support, and a pathway to full recovery.
- Foster Care Program: Our dedicated network of foster homes offers loving, temporary care that helps dogs transition from crisis to comfort, preparing them for permanent adoption.
- Volunteer Engagement: Volunteers are the heart of our rescue. We welcome those who share our passion for animal welfare and wish to give their time, talents, and love to support our mission.

100% Volunteer-Run, 100% for the Dogs
Fur Angels Dog Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up entirely of dedicated volunteers... there are no paid employees. Every person involved, from transport drivers to foster coordinators, donates their time and energy out of love for dogs in need. Because we operate without salaries or overhead, 100% of all donations go directly toward the care, medical treatment, and rehoming of the dogs we rescue. Your support truly makes a direct and life-saving difference.
