Our FAQ page is here to help you learn more about Fur Angels Dog Rescue, our adoption and foster process, volunteer opportunities, and how you can make a difference. Whether you are considering bringing a dog into your home or simply want to support our mission, you will find helpful information to guide you every step of the way.
Yes, Fur Angels Dog Rescue is a Registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. This means all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law, and 100% of the support we receive goes directly toward the care, rehabilitation, and placement of rescue dogs. We operate entirely through volunteer efforts and community generosity.
To adopt, simply complete our adoption application. Once approved, we will help you find the right match and guide you through a meet-and-greet, home check, and final adoption process. If a dog is sponsored, then the fee would most likely be waved.
Some of our dogs might be sponsored which often times means their adoption fee is covered by one of our fabulous sponsors. Our adoption fee covers spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and any necessary medical treatment the dog has received while in our care.
We encourage interested adopters to complete the application first. This helps us ensure a good match before arranging a meet-and-greet with the foster family.
Processing times can vary, but most applications are reviewed within a few business days. Once approved, we coordinate meet-ups and finalize the adoption as quickly as possible.
Fostering means temporarily welcoming a dog into your home until it is adopted. We provide all supplies and cover veterinary costs—you provide love, structure, and care. And yes, if you fall in love with the dog, you are first in line to adopt him or her.

Absolutely! Many of our foster volunteers have full-time jobs. We offer free Doggy Daycare at the same location sponsored by Sniff and Wiggles Dog Resort at the same location of the dog rescue and adoption center. We will work with you to match you with a dog that fits your schedule and lifestyle. Some puppies may need more time and attention, but we can guide you to an arrangement that works for everyone.
We serve all 58 California counties and even out-of-state people. We work closely with you to match a dog that fits your home and lifestyle. We also appreciate flexibility, especially for dogs in urgent need of placement.
Yes. Every dog is spayed or neutered before adoption unless age or medical conditions require special arrangements, in which case we work closely with the adopter.
We rescue dogs of all breeds, ages, and backgrounds—especially those at risk of euthanasia, abandonment, or neglect. Each one deserves a second chance.
